Booking and Cancellation Policies

At nbnSignings Notary Services, we aim to provide seamless, transparent, and professional services. Please review the following policies carefully. Payment of a deposit or invoice constitutes agreement to these terms.

Booking and Payment

  • When scheduling your notary appointment, a deposit is required to secure your desired time slot. Deposit amounts vary by service and are listed during the booking process.

  • For appointments booked directly, payment of the invoice is required to hold the appointment, begin document preparation, or initiate service-specific tasks (e.g., session preparation for RON).

  • Full payment may be required prior to the completion of services.

Notification of Cancellation or Rescheduling

  • If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment or need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. For weddings, a 72-hour notice is required. This allows us to accommodate other clients. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

  • Contact us at 775-234-8858 or info@nbnsignings.com to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Refund Policy:

  • Deposits are non-refundable and cover administrative time spent on preparation.

  • If full payment was made and cancellation occurs with at least 24 hours' notice, the amount paid, excluding the deposit, may be refunded.

  • Refunds may be issued only for errors or cancellations on our part. Refund requests must be submitted via email to info@nbnsignings.com within three (3) business days of the scheduled service.

  • Refunds are not provided for completed notarizations, apostille/authentication services, or finalized documents.

Service-Specific Terms:

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

  • All notarization fees comply with Nevada state regulations. Administrative fees, extended session fees, or additional charges are categorized under document preparation services.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the receiving entity accepts electronically notarized documents. Refunds are not provided for documents rejected by the requesting party.

  • RON sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes. A $50 session overage fee per 30-minute increment will apply for extended appointments.

  • To avoid delays, clients have the ability to log in early and complete ID verification as soon as they receive their session invite.

Apostille Services

  • Payment of the deposit authorizes nbnSignings Notary Services to begin the apostille or authentication process and obtain apostille/authentications on your behalf.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and cover the time spent researching, coordinating, and preparing documents.

  • Clients are responsible for providing all necessary documents to begin processing. Delays caused by incomplete submissions may extend the timeline.

  • nbnSignings Notary Services cannot guarantee processing times, shipping, or delivery dates due to external factors such as government delays, mail service issues or force majeure events.

Document Preparation

  • Document preparation services are conducted under Nevada law and are subject to the following disclaimer:

  • Your service includes up to two revisions for minor adjustments to the initial draft. Substantial revisions requiring significant changes may incur additional fees.

Wedding Officiant Services

  • Photos of your wedding may be used for marketing purposes such as social media unless you provide written notice to opt out.

  • Full payment is required prior to the ceremony, including any travel fees agreed upon at booking.

Immigration Forms Specialist

  • Immigration forms assistance is provided under Nevada document preparation guidelines and is subject to the following disclaimer:

  • Services include assistance with completing forms, mock interview preparation, and general guidance. Final approval is at the discretion of immigration authorities, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

  • Clients are encouraged to consult with an immigration attorney if they are unsure of the forms needed. We can provide referrals to qualified immigration attorneys if needed.

Mobile Notary Services

  • Travel fees are agreed upon at the time of booking and confirmed before the appointment. Additional fees may apply for:

    • Changes in location.

    • Extended wait times beyond 15 minutes without prior notice.

    • Unanticipated services or requests.

  • All notarization fees are charged in compliance with Nevada state regulations.

Business Agreements

Services provided to signing agencies, business partners, or notaries are governed by separate contracts. Fees are outlined at the time of engagement, and invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of Liability:

Our responsibility for any errors or omissions is restricted to the cost of the service provided. nbnSignings Notary Services is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of our services.

Policy Amendments:

nbnSignings Notary Services reserves the right to update these policies periodically to reflect changes in business practices or regulations. Updates will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
